Center and Wellness Program

The John H. Boner Community Center responds to the needs of our community. One of the first services developed for the community was to assist senior citizens in the neighborhood. The Senior Center operates five days a week, serving hot lunch and providing a place for friends to work together as they assemble jigsaw puzzles, challenge each other to a game of cards or compete for the title of Bingo Champion. The Boner Center's transportation service drives the participants who live within the catchment area to the grocery store and to other shopping excursions. |

The Senior Center also provides health screenings and offers senior citizens the health information they need as they get older. The Center is open from 8 a.m. to 4p.m. Mondays through Fridays for adults 55 years of age and older. The Senior Center is free-of-charge to any senior citizen who lives within the John H. Boner Center catchment area. |
